we then go to Tresor, another club nearby. I went with a group but we split into 2, and joined a long queue which took over an hour, around midnight on Saturday night (I know this is an obvious time to go, but that's just how it panned out!) so everyone around me is different nationalities, some people are drunk, some aren't, but eventually I get to the door, say "zwei", the dude looks at me for a while, looks at Sven, then shakes his head- rejection! I was absolutely gutted! none of my other friends got in either, so we all trudge back down the gravel feeling gutted we have come all this way to Berlin just for a casual shake of the head for absolutely no reason. I had researched the place very well, what to do, what not to do, how to dress, what to say etc etc. Having heard about and wanting to go to Berghain for a couple of years now, I made that familiar Easyjet journey over one Saturday morning, with the intention of thoroughly enjoying Berlins nightlife and ultimately, getting into and having a great night/day/night at Berghain. Be cool, is about your attitude, no your clothes at all! Good luck! And a good thing is that if u cant get in there is others good clubs around the area that u'll not retreat to go. When u are in front of Sven (the doorman) he has to see that you just want to have a good electro night. If u are in a group, split! No more than 2 per time. I didn't have problems to get in any of the times that I try, my advice. Was the best part of the party) The club is never too cloud, there are some areas to rest, chat or just chill out and I guarantee u'll have a great night(s) just paying 1 time around 12-14 euros. The club is running from Friday till Monday morning (when mostly locals are there, by the way.
I went on Saturday night, about 2 am and I left the club at 11 am, then I came back (without paying again because I already got the stamp) Sunday at 3 pm. The music is every time good, u don't need to check the DJs because u can be sure they'll be good. I went there for the first time alone and I get in, I had one of the best nights in my life, I met the coolest people in Europe and they were really friendly, shearing and taking care about the others, no one was annoying or unrespectful, actually even being a crazy electro party they were super polite. Just be cool in the Q, no to anxious or loud, they will think that u will make a mess in there YOU ARE NOT IN MATRIX MAN! Worse club ever.
Long Q, and u never know the real reasons because they reject u (after get in I realized that probably they want chill people, no looking for be totally wasted or just hook up with someone. Usually I don't write reviews, but I have to say that they DO NOT hate tourists, I'm from Chile and yes, is true that is hard to get in.
